We strive to help children from low-income families nurture big dreams and bright hope for the future.
One of our most notable social outreach activities is the Rainbow Box campaign. Children, like the colors of the rainbow, have different skills and talent. We provide arts and cultural education to talented children from low-income households so that they can develop self-confidence and get the help they need to get one step closer to their dreams for the future.
A distinguishing characteristic of GSHS’s social outreach activities is that they encourage customer engagement and participation. Many customers have already experienced the joy of giving and sharing through the Knit One, Save One campaign and the Goodwill Product campaign.
GSHS makes active use of our diverse distribution channels — i.e. TV, internet, catalog—for socially meaningful projects and campaigns. We endeavor to utilize our resources and infrastructure to spread the culture of giving and sharing and encourage greater customer participation.
